The event included the installation of a sanitary napkin vending machine at the college as part of their ongoing initiative, Project Pankh, aimed at promoting menstrual hygiene and awareness among students.

🎯 Objective of the Initiative

FICCI FLO Kanpur continues its mission to empower young women through access to healthcare, education, and life skills. The initiative at SPM Nursing College was a holistic outreach programme designed to blend physical wellness infrastructure with mental and emotional development sessions, catering to the unique needs of nursing students.

🩺 😃Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine Installation at SPM NURSING COLLEGE.

A major highlight was the installation of a fully automated sanitary napkin vending machine in the college.
This was strategically placed in a location accessible to all students.

Stocked with subsidised or free sanitary products.

Accompanied by an orientation session on usage, refilling, and menstrual hygiene.

FICCI FLO volunteers interacted with students, emphasising the importance of breaking taboos and encouraging open dialogue around menstrual health.

🎨Cultural & Community Engagement

Hunar Utsav 2025: FLO Kanpur organised "Hunar Utsav 2025", a three-day cultural and handicrafts festival held from February 9, 2025, at Motijheel Ground No. 3. The event featured artisans and handicraft vendors, along with cultural events and workshops, promoting local talent and crafts.
