Our Events

SPM Nursing College celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with immense pride, patriotism, and enthusiasm. The event was organized within the college premises, where students, faculty members, and staff gathered to honor the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and to celebrate the spirit of independent India. The entire campus was adorned with the national flag, balloons, banners, and rangoli in tricolour, creating an atmosphere of festivity and national pride.

Theme of this year-"Naya Bharat"

🇮🇳Flag Hoisting Ceremony-

The program commenced at 10:00 AM with the hoisting of the National Flag by the respected Principal, Mrs Sonam Gupta accompanied by Director Mrs Nandita Sharma and Bandana Sharma and all faculty members. All students and staff stood in unison to sing the National Anthem, which filled the environment with a sense of unity and devotion towards the country.

Cultural Programs-

A variety of cultural activities were organized to mark the occasion. Students actively participated in:

Rangoli competition and chart exhibition,

Poetry Recitations and Speeches – expressing gratitude towards national leaders and inspiring everyone to uphold democratic values.

A special nursing-themed skit was presented on “The Role of Nurses in Nation-Building,” which depicted the importance of healthcare professionals in strengthening the country.

Principal’s Address-

The Principal Mrs Sonam Gupta delivered an inspiring speech reminding everyone of the struggles of freedom fighters and the responsibility of youth in safeguarding the nation’s future. She emphasized the values of discipline, dedication, and compassion that every nursing student must imbibe, not only as healthcare providers but also as responsible citizens of the nation.

Prize Distribution-

To encourage student participation, certificates of appreciation and prizes.

At last sweets were distributed to all the students, hospital staff and all faculty members.
