🎯 Objectives
1. To enhance nursing students’ knowledge and practical skills in performing CPR.
2. To emphasize the importance of timely intervention during cardiac arrest.
3. To familiarize students with the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED).
4. To promote confidence in handling real-life emergency situations.
5. To spread community awareness through nursing-led initiatives.

Day 1: Inauguration & Awareness Session
Inaugural Ceremony
Welcome Address – Principal or Faculty In-Charge
Lighting of Lamp & Opening Remarks
Keynote Speech: “CPR: The First Link in the Chain of Survival” by a medical officer or emergency care expert
Video presentation on the importance of CPR presented by Mrs.Anusha Chauhan and Mrs.Anushka Singh Nursing Tutor of SPM Nursing College.
Awareness Talk Topics:
Introduction to CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS)
Understanding Cardiac Arrest and Early Recognition

Day 2: Demonstration & Hands-On Practice (Basic Life Support)
Skill Demonstration by Instructors:
Adult, Child, and Infant CPR Techniques
Airway management (head tilt–chin lift, jaw thrust)
Chest compression and rescue breathing (with mannequin)
Student Practice Sessions:
Group rotation on CPR mannequins
Supervised feedback from BLS-certified faculty

Day 3: AED and Emergency Response
Demonstration:
Introduction to AED – components and usage
Step-by-step demo on applying AED during cardiac arrest
Hands-on Practice:
Simulated emergency scenarios with AED use

Nursing students conduct CPR Awareness Campaign in nearby schools, colleges, or public places.
